22 dn. Something orange - rust, perhaps ? (6) _ _ _ _ _ A

28 ac. Easy scoring opportunity about to go amiss, which is beastly. (8) _ _ _ _ O _ I _

could 22d be Patina?

Any other info? The only easy scoring thing that I can think of, apart from open goal, is dolly, but that doesn't look too helpful.

Can't really give much more info Muffet, except third letter will be " I " , from ' patina '

Sorry to upset things, but how about TERRAPIN?
Tap in = easy scoring opp. Err = go amiss.
The trouble is that it makes PATINA and something else wrong, and patina seemed so good.
