Shaneystar2..don't know if you are around..but I would like to use this thread to tell you that as well as Chambers I bought, I also took your advice and got Bradfords..it is brilliant. Thanks so much. With this book and advice from you and Kayakamina on what to look for, I am making SLOW but steady progress with my cryptics! Managed a few myself before I looked for answers on line today!
Think I will still need you experts though...thanks again and to K and Sarumite and others who help and teach me a lot!!

Pauline...I'm so sorry to hear that you've burnt your hand doing dinner. Take care now and look after yourself; burns can be very nasty and painful, especially on the hand.
But I'm glad to hear you've actually bought a copy of Chambers, & I do so hope you're as pleased with it as you obviously are with Bradfords.
