For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ."orange pumpkin" registers 143,000 hits on the web, whereas "turnip lantern" registers only 1,690. Strictly speaking, we USE a pumpkin ( to make a lantern) but a "turnip lantern" is the finished article (so to speak).
