It's not very clear really I can't find anything to suggest he holds a British passport . He may have been born in London but that doesn't mean to say he is British There is all sorts of conflicting opinion on the web and on here . http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Music/Question3 25468.html
My sons were born in England and Holland but they hold German passports so it doesn't always follow that just because he was born here he is British...
hi b.b, he was born in london so surely that makes him english ? london is the capital of england , i can't understand what the difference between england and britain is ! forgive me if i'm being a bit thick here but i always thought england was england, ireland, scotland ,wales, same as britain, so what is the difference between british & english ?
(ps: wish they'd hurry up and put the answer on in donslots pickmeup page, will be interesting to see what he says!)
I DO agree with you allotment 10 , I consider myself English first ,british second .
Its the pollitically correct lot again .
If your born in England you are british .
But the Welsh are Welsh ...........etc...
England is not a nation so it follows that English is not a nationality. The UK is a nation and British is the nationality. No-one holds an English passport but millions hold a British one.
