Miles Davis ...Ray (Davis Kinks) is ahead of !560 yards (In a Mile )
Question Author
Can't be right, a mile is 1760 yards!
Oh how shameful !!! Shows how long ago I left school ! Plus the fact I hadn't got my reading glasses on.
Are you sure your quiz setter has got the correct number of yards in his mile because it seems so obvious otherwise .
I have just done a category search
Have a look at this

We've tried searching already! It's driving us mad!
I have to hold my hand up here and apologise here.

I was told about this site by a client of mine.

I am the quiz setter. This year's Christmas pop quiz originated from my company's Christmas card and has been 'lent' (for free, I must add) to several other organisations including the lab news publication.

1560 yards is incorrect. It should be 1760 yards. I would like to claim that this is a typo error, but on checking my original draft, this is what I put. School was a very long, long time ago.

Hope this clarifies.

Thank god for that!! We were all starting to go mad! I think you should tell us the answer !! Is it Miles Davis?
Well, our own quiz ends on January 12th.
I'm not sure when Lab News ends theirs, but they ain't getting the 'official' answers before then. And neither are you - no matter how guilty I am feeling!

For some poor, sad people out there, this quiz is all they worry about over the Christmas period.
