Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Just got an email to say my old thread had been updated
I cant find the quiz so I am guessing I have sent it off so too late to change the one you mention. I always type up my answers so I can still help you

I have guns for the connection

Not sure if I can give clues now I dont have the questions - no just looked and it means nothing

You've done brilliantly to finish it! I have found it really difficult, but just down to this one set of connections, I've got C. COLT D. RIFLE E. PISTOL but I have B. DALY THOMPSON??? and nothing for A. (portly TV detective) so I guessed guns was the connection but assume Daly Thompson is wrong and can't think of anything to fit A. It would be great if you could tell me those two!

If it's guns you're looking for, there is a Thompson gun - immortalised in the chorus of the 1960s' hit by the Dubliners... We're off to Dublin in the Green....

Thank you so much for those smouse and kettledrum! Don't know why I didn't do more research into a thompson gun, just got it into my head there wasn't one!

smouse, thank you so much for those, I will try and work out the rest of each sequence as a challenge! It will be great to get another quiz posted, I seem to have got so many at the moment, even though I love them, with Christmas coming up don't know how I am going to get some of them finished!
