Thank you both very much for your help now and throughout the year.A very Happy New Year.
shaneystar 2 the hip operation was very successful,it is now 4 months since I had my op and no pain although I still walk with a slight list to one side.My physiotherapist calls it joining the Ministry of Silly walks.Hopefully one day I will improve but see loads of other people doing the same thing.Hope you will do well when the time comes for yours.
I do hope things will improve in the AB listings.Too many categories to troll through,I find it a lot less fun now and I am sure we have lost a good few members.

So glad your op went well..and in spite of listing a little I hope that you are pain free and more mobile which is the main thing .Mine is steadily getting worse and I shall have to go back and see my GP again in the new year . I am hoping he will give me some more Xrays or a bone density scan to see how far things have gone . This cold damp weather doesn't help either.I am getting to the stage now where I can't bend down very well and have great difficulty getting in and out of the bath and have to use a walking stick sometimes .My grand niece calls me Holly Hobble !!
