I think the second one seems a bit ambiguous as there are several small versions.

Thanks for all your help folks. I`d wondered about the bath thing with those old queens(!) as I knew I`d heard something in the past but couldn`t recall what it was. I`ll have to look into that further.

The Paris answer for the Statue of Liberty would have been my guess, so thanks mac44 for the confirmation.

In Edinburgh you can visit Queen Mary's Bath House, a 16th century lodge, where it is said she bathed in white wine and goat's milk� twice a year.
Queen Elizabeth the First reeked to such a degree that parliament, who usually tamely followed her will, rebelled once, when they passed an edict that "The Queen must bathe, at least once a year."
So ...... have a bath .. is indeed your answer .

They reckon that Francis Drake is said to have made love to her on royal command , but with great difficulty because she stunk so much that he had to hold a posy of herbs to his nose whilst doing the deed..
He must have managed though, because he became SIR Francis soon afterwards....Dirty old lot !!
