This is the only one I can find, but it doesn't begin with a 'K'

Are sure about the K? France doesn't seem to be too well blessed with towns beginning with that letter.
I would have said Bayonne ... famous for their armaments industry giving the world the word bayonet.I can't honestly think of any French towns beginning with K .
Can't think of anything beginning with "K".
But in 17thC St Etienne was known as "Armeville" as it was famous for the manufacture of arms.

where does the letter K come from?
Question Author
Thanks for all the suggestions, but it does begin with 'K'. I'm beginning to think this is a trick question!
Question Author
Panthleon, the letter 'K' is the initial of the answer. The question or answer must have a metal connection.
It seems a fairly straightforward question that could have several answers, but you don't seem to have told us everything. What's this about a metal connection, and why are you so sure about the K? (Just trying to help !!)
Question Author
Yes, I know it's sounds complicated. There were 100 questions in the quiz (answered 99) and the clue is that all the questions or answers have a connection with metal (e.g. Q: Dorothy's heartless companion, A: The Tin Man). The initials of the answer are also given - hence 'K'. But I still can't solve this one!
