I am doing a quiz with photos. There is a white male with a large flatish black moustache and black eyebrows.
He is looking directly at the camera. Just visible is the top of either an umbrella or a walking stick. The male is wearing a yellow bowler hat.

I have seen this photo many times, but just can't remember who it is.

Does anyone recognise him? Thanks

It isn't CharlieChaplin as his moustache was small and square. This guy's moustache nearly goes across his face and the photo is much too modern. Thanks anyway.

It's not Freddie - but the moustache is very similar to his.

Sorry Rbind, Big Brother is watching and I don't want either of us to get chucked off this quiz. I haven't had any further luck with mine so I'm submitting it with a few spaces!
As for the site you gave me, I had real problems getting on it but I'm glad I perservered as I do Quizmail each month and it looks as though it will be helpful for that.

Hi Riband, you can go on Quizmail with www.postalquiz.com or [email protected]/[email protected].

Basically the Quiz is sent out every month, 150 questions, and there is a prize for the winning team. Teams are in leagues and because I do it on my own, I'm in the bottom league! Sometimes I just don't get time to complete the quiz as I work as well and have other commitments. Hope this helps, good luck with the Xmas one.

Thanks for that info localgirl,I will look into that.I do loads of crosswords and used to do lots of slogan competitions (quite successfully)but they seem to have dried up lately so I have recently turned my mind to Quizzes.
