Thanks in advance, hoping to get these finished soon so i can go to bed!!
Hi, sorry to butt in on this post but i also was needing 17A but if is Patois as ont-ice gave, then i think i have some others wrong, because i have the same letters twinkleton gave ??l?u? Please can someone confirm 14d and 7d for me, ive got blimp and salisbury plain. Thanks
What are your clues for 14 and 17D? I'm not doing the crossword, and bear in mind that someone else may have a better answer than mine for 17A. So you and twinkleton may be correct and I may be incorrect.
oh twinkleton, no wonder we all cant find an answer, think you've made a mistake, that clue you gave is for 17D not 17A, and the letters are ???o?s. the clue for 17A is Top of a birds head from the base of the bill to the nape of the neck. Didnt have the crossword with me before, just got it to check something and seen what you have done. Thought id point it out.
xx good luck xx
Oh dear, so i have, thanks for pointing that out, sorry to everyone that is racking their brains for me!! I dont have either of them and got a bit mixed up, any ideas now. Sorry again!!
Perhaps twinkleton being a 'newcomer' doesn't yet know about 6numbers247. Had you thought of that?
As a matter of interest I just googled 6numbers247 and got 4 hits, 2 for Sudoku, one for 2/1/07, one of abers chatting and one for Gile's 3rd birthday party.
None of them relevant to twinketon's questions of tonight.
