I've got ideas for the following six, but would appreciate 2nd opinions; [I'll add my ideas in later, but don't want to colour anyone's judgement for now!].
7. Plymouth Argyle ; Measure 8. Beads ; Atomic 9 Door ; Jar 10. Unchained Melody ; Microsoft 11. 137 ; Churchill 12. Venice ; Ilkley

Thanks - I'd searched against both Vidal and Siegfried (from theSassoon side), but could not find a connection with pangram - have you got an explanation at all?

Thanks - I'd not thought of Animal Farm - will pursue this. My personal thought was "prime" as in 137 is a "prime" number and Churchill was "prime" minister.
7 - Plymouth Argyle are known as Pilgrims. At the back of my mind is a little bell saying that it's a measure of beer or something.
Does this jog anybody's memory?
