I too think 1991 is to do with apartheid, as for the others, no luck here.

Sorry, granny helen, it was me who suggested the 1820 one as a possibility only and said that I hadn't checked it. Now I have and I was 15/16 years out. I don't know what else it could be and I've got several iffy ones as well.

Just been checking on the 1932 suggestion and it looks as if the Mars Bar could well be right - according to Wikipedia the factory in Slough making them was opened in that year.
