Not asking for answers, just confirmation on my word patterns for final three clues, as I am now going round in circles! ... I would be really grateful for confirmation only (or otherwise) of the following :-
7a M?S?S ?O?T
40a A???S ?O?P
30d D?M???A?T
Finally, I was confident of my answers for 9d and 15a but where they intersect I have "a" for 15a and "u" for 9d. Is there perhaps an alternative spelling for either answer, if so could somebody please point me in the right direction. Many thanks (S) ;o)

Weather is bitter and accompanied by snow. Still it's nearly the end of January and what can we expect. It was so late coming this year (the winter) that we're paying the piper for the nice weather of December and the start of this month.
I think BC had a worse winter than Ontario this year and that's definitely a switch.
Stay well. O-ice

My daugter is having it quite bad in Port Moody, she dosen't have a 4 wheel drive vehicle and has found it difficult as she lives quite high up. She's had to lose 3/4 days at work due to the road conditions. (She just istn't used to it). I hope it isn't like that next Dec/Jan we are going for Christmas. Brrrrrr
