This is a fun exercise to see if you are able to predict the Link Words in the Herculis Crossword [in Saturday's DT[]

The four words to be linked SHOULD BE ENTERED below by the first ABer to complete the Saturday Crossword. They are also invited to record their four predictions as the first entry of many!

On Monday, when the Link Words are known, they can be entered on to the end of this posting by the first ABer to complete the Monday grid and the competition will come to a close.

The overall picture will materialise sooner [or later] depending on the planet and its angle with the axis of rotation - perhaps at a time when most are asleep!!!

These results will appear on an entirely fresh posting.

I will of course endeavour to aspire to crofter's impeccable level of tabulating the results and getting them published asap.

It is as I feared - AB Ed has taken not the slightest notice of all the activity on this thread and flatly refuses to consider cluttering up my INBOX as Crofter warned me might happen

I'm very impressed to see the orderly fashion in which the posts have been lodged - not like the 'rabble' over on MM, all this hiding in dust bins and hanging from lamp posts tut tut - how undignified and if anyone finds a pair of spectacles and a thesaurus under the 2nd woodheap, it's MINE !!!! and I'd like them back asap - can't see and can't think
