MM Links Game 2007 January [Week 4]

MM (Michael Mepham) had universal appeal - quite irrespective of a person's age, gender, colour or creed. This quality serves as this week's inspirational title for the last of my Link Games as "One Size Fits All".

The four words to be linked will appear below at 9.00am.

Forget the rules and remember ONLY that all my selected Links contain at least FOUR letters and at most EIGHT letters. Stray outside this range and you are
wasting one of your predictions.

Entries will close at 7.00pm Sunday, when the selected Links will be disclosed and the top scorers declared for this round and the crowning of the new monthly
champion. This new monthly champion will be responsible for setting the link words throughout the month of February.

The front runners for this honour are JimJools, rogerr and Ont-ice , but there's a chasing pack!

In the past, EVERY link word has been spotted, but NEVER by the same entrant. Nailing all four links scores AT LEAST 6 points! Good Luck!

Thank you crofter... I was wondering whether the green meant I was indeed "green" or whether it was an easy way of picking out my own posts. I'll get the hang of it eventually!

Now curiosity has got the better of me and I'm scurrying off in search of kettledrum's answer...

Crofter,sorry this is a bit late but have only just seen kettledrums message.Hope i have the right idea at what to do, but i don't know how to do spacing so everything is in a line !! we've all been there evsajo. If you use that big key on the right with a broken arrow on it it will sort out your lines for you. Glad you've joined us - I'm still fairly new at this game too. :O)

Good Morning to all - and especially seekeerz
How's the trade doing on the "sister competition" the KM Links Game! Everyone SHOULD try to enter both as they have a common origin and share a common clienele (and I don't mean "common" in THAT sense - although ...?)

The word "poach" could be replaced by "happily share"!

As for my remarks to kettledrum, let me explain the he enters the competition quite late, so attempts to get four links that NO-ONE ELSE has! (It takes all sorts ...? : There's nowt as queer as folks!)

I have notes on all of you and your idiosyncracies!
The fact that each of us is different is the COMMON factor?

Nah, give the chore a miss Gravit8, specially Sat. am when we all circle crofter's lead-in, waiting for 9.00 and THE posting and then it's on-Boxing Day Sales have nothing on this - actually I think that why we girls do so well in the opening stoush !! anyway there's all sorts of tricky manouvers for getting to the head of the queue - bushes, woodpiles, stampeding over ulysses100 and pulling out his computer cables, you name it

whoops, hit the wrong key or something there, anyway all I was going to say was that after all the excitement, we sit around and compare bruises and battle scars with a bracing glass of whatevers's to hand - as you can see - a right disreputable lot, but there's nothing like us !! so we expect to see you next Sat. just watch out for who's hiding IN the dustbin

Thanks Seekeerz/Steph (which do I call you? That green colouring of my moniker is looking more and more apt!)

I fear I may be more like the boys when it comes to January sales - I hang back and let all the kicking, biting and hair-pulling die down before I venture in - LOL!

I'm not averse to burrowing through woodpiles and getting thoroughly muddy though, so I hope that will stand me in good stead!

I will definitely be giving the chores a miss on a Saturday morning from now on though
