Any suggestions please-last day-quiz post date is tomorrow and loads of gaps.Would like help with these three questions Q2 Which famous conductor had a West End show named after him? Q6 In 1984 three members of which national soccer team defected to India? Q66 In the context where Q,A,G,S and V are tricks, then B(in it's true meaning) is very tricky. What does it stand for? Many Thanks
Nil on question 2.
Q6. My only suggestion I have already given to you, but had not luck tracing the answer myself.
Q66. QAGS are 'trick' strategy games with V being an offshoot strategy. I hit a brick wall after that and could find no mention of B.
Didn't do you proud this month. Sorry.
Hi O-ice
Thank you for your message
There is certainly no need for you to apologise.you have been extremely helpful over the past few months and this was a pig of a quiz
Perhaps we will have better luck next month
Regards

We'll be away on vacation for most of next month. Leaving on 9th and coming back on 25th. Not taking laptops etc. So if I can help it will have to be prior to or after the above dates.
Good luck anyway. That's a given.
I hope you have an enjoyable holiday. Are you going abroad or staying in Canada?
I will receive the next quiz on Wednesday 7th February and as we normally get 2-21/2 weeks to do the quiz it looks like the return date will be Friday 23 rd February, which is before you return from holiday
I will keep this thread open and send you the missing answers on Wednesday, together with the return date for the quiz if it is after you return home
Have a nice break

Hi
I have received the new Challenge and the answers to the questions on this post and the previous post were
Q2 Thomas Beecham
Q4 Afghanistan
Q66 Azure-Heraldry
Q119 House of Commons
I was missing other answers, mainly picture questions
The return date is Friday 2nd March so I shall hopefully have a couple of days of your assistance, once you have
settled down after your holiday

Sorry for delay. I hadn't checked this thread for a while. Thanks for the answers. I actually thought of Afghanistan but couldn't find a link to the clue.
Wouldn't have known about Sir Thomas, the Heraldry or the House of Commons. I'm at a disadvantage when the questions relate to UK subjects.
We're off to the Caribeean and surely my brain will come back refreshed and ready for a another 'Challenge.'
