i have installed this game ,5 times but every time i click to play the game ,i get the same message.(the application has failed to start because d3dx9-30dll was not found. reinstalling may fix the problem )it does not .i have e mailed the game support website ,but they will not answer me .can anyone help.thanks.

That file is part of DirectX 9. You can download and install it from Microsoft.

I have had the same problem. My PC is already running Direct X 9c. Tried reinstalling the game and direct X (although there does not appear to be any direct x software that came wit the game) but still no luck.

I downloaded an update from this page which explained the situation.

I placed the DirectX stuff in the program files/carte blanche folder and unpacked the CAB files to get the files it wanted. Now it works. Yay.

Game looks a bit rubish though. Ho hum.
