KM Links Game February [Week 1]

Time again to report the results of this weeks KM Link Words Game, and courtesy of chiefpanda we have the four words necessary to complete this competition.

Compass ROSE
Access ROAD
Weather GLASS
Health FARM

and at the head of the list with 1 2pointer for Compass Rose + 1 point is

Jan1956

Aquagility gained 2points for Access Road

rogerr took out another 2 points for Health Farm

and two points went begging for Weather Glass.

Next we have JMR27 with two good choices, rose and farm, so 2 points to you

and then we have a cluster of 1 pointers for inspired guesses and they are in order of lodging -

ulysses100, Paulineward, lector, Magyar, twosearch,
shaneystar2, teacher1, patchett and jayemcee.

This week provided us with quite a challenge, there were so many possible combinations and as chiefpanda noted, all the words 'followed on' but I don't think we can rely on that continuing to be the case.

Very pleased to see that there were 45 enties this time, so the web is spreading - congratulations to all the winners, commiserations to all others - sarumite, is there still space in Ont-ice's Free Fall Club for another reliable scorer of zero ?? I'm submitting my application form herewith.

And that brings to a close the competition for this week, however we'll be back again to do it all again next Friday night, when I'll lodge the opening post for week 2.

Well it looks as if Ont-ice will have to let me back into the Freefall Club now, after reverting to true form with another blank scoreline!

I guess it must have been a pure fluke in the MM links game when seemingly being on the same wavelength as both Barbara and Jan for a few moments. Kate M has firmly reminded me that I will probably never be able to get the better of the fairer sex !!??

By all means put your application in for membership Steff ... and if it's accompanied by a few tinnies for O and myself, you'll be in like a shot! We may even talk sport .. but think that should stay on hold for a few days??

It's nice to see that I get an honourable mention for being in the top ten. I think that between the MM and KM games that gives me a grand total of two ! So there's still room for improvement.
