I was rather shocked and very saddened to read all the postings by Abers attacking each other. I have been a member of this site for about a year and have really enjoyed the cameraderie and companionship of sharing a common interest with fellow cruciverbalists. And have been particularly grateful for help received when requested.

I cannot believe that such a group of nice people could be so horrid to each other. This is not the purpose of this site. Could we all please get back to being the nice supportive bunch I have become very fond of.

Lets get things into perspective. Crosswords, good as they are - and I am an avid DT addict and do not feel my day is complete until I have finished one - are not the be all and end all and should be kept in their proper place in the greater order of things.

Please let us return to the supporot, harmony and fellowship this site provides.

Amen

I do agree with you pollythecat. We all get annoyed at some people who insist on posting several questions separately but as you say it is not the end of the world. Love and peace to all ABers.
Lets face it There is a lot of hot air about nothing.

I have been delighted with all the kind help given on this site Nothing is too much for this friendly community so why spoil it over pettiness.

Life is too short for this acrimony.

I should as my dear mother died today and I switched on the computer to escape the sadness only to find these pointless squabbles occuring
