Another week has gone by and it's time again to match wits with Kate Mepham of the Daily Telegraph.
Can you predict the four Link Words successfully ?? The four words will be entered below by the first ABer to complete Saturday's crossword and they are invited to enter their own predictions at the same time.
So, we hope, will many others, and the competition will continue until Monday morning when the link words are known. They too can be entered at the end of this thread and the competition will close.
Shortly afterwards, yours truly will post the results on a new thread as soon as possible, so Good Luck to everyone
Steff, thanks for the offer of hiding out on the hayshed, but as you see I didn't need to. I overslept this morning and am having problems with my computer. I can only think that somebody is trying to sabotage my computer AND that someone else must have slipped me a sleeping potion last night ! Anyway, here are my attempts ;
boundless ENERGY
KENSINGTON Gore
HARVEST moon
EVENT horizon

sarumite - have we agreed NOT to mention the c word or shall we wait until after Sunday's match ??
keep up the good work one and all and I'll check back with you tomorrow, bye for now, Steff
Dustybun your son is quite right but at the same time so are we lesser mortals .. as the infamous Oval that we are going with is in Barbados where the calypso cricket is played. Nice try though to throw us off balance!!
