Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

DTGK crossword winners

As a regular competitor in the DTGK crossword I was wondering how many of the winners actually bought the newspaper and how many competed electronically. Do any other ABers have an idea? You can probably guess, I have never won, but always send in my completed crossword, which I believe is always correct.

I'm guessing yes, as some competitors appear to come from abroad and I think you can subscribe on-line to a variety of puzzles/crosswords.

I don't think you can get the GK one online though. We tried when we were on holiday last year and could only get the cryptic one.

We buy the paper and we have won it. It must have been in 1999 because that is the date of our Whitaker's Almanac. I think it was �500 then!! I say "we" because it was in my husband's name.

Buy the paper. Submitting correct crosswords since 1970, but never won!
