Hi, thanks for all the help I've seen on here so far. I'm still stuck on a few and would appreciate any help. 2 Young or great adults at the start (4) starts with letters 'x' of 'y' 5 Bronze by Archipenko (6) letters 'v' or 'w' (have tried Googling this but couldn't find anything. 35 Scottish 3000 (5) 'm' or 'n' 36 Exclusive command or possession (8) 'm' or 'n' 50 Game played on board of 256 squares (6) letter 'g' 57 Between tea and green (7) 'd' or 'f' 59 fall in small drops (7) 'd'
number 46 - could the person who said this was Hockey please explain how it's worked out. Thanks
Many thanks everyone. Think DRIBBLE is better than DRIZZLE as it's more to do with sport. I did Google no 35 and got MUNRO but what has it to do with sport, games etc? Not heard of GOBANG - would never have got that. Thanks again
I wasn't the one who said 46 was Hockey but I can remember my late father in law describing a farm as "not a bad little hockey". never thought it would appear in a quiz though.
I'm not happy with my Q75 answer. Sport of Isaav Newton. I can't find that Isaac Newton had anything to do with Angling or Archery. He didn't seem to be a very sporting man at all. He was interested in Alchemy but that's not a sport. They all fit but any ideas please.
yes, I was thinking Archery would fit for Isaac Newton -apple-william tell, arrow through apple on son's head but I too now seem to remember Izaac Walton. Let's see what that brings up on Google.
