I suspect this has been debated already but is it Monet or Manet? Cambridge Biographical Dictionary leads you to believe that Manet is the founder of the Impressionist movement but I would have thought Monet was the 'unswerving advocate'. Any thoughts? BB
I assume the a/o is not a checked letter and can't be worked out from another clue?
There are two possibilities - either both answers will be accepted as correct, or the compiler has introduced an element of chance into the answer to reduce the number of correct entries.
Thanks to you both. I feel it should be Monet so that's what I'll put. Usually forget to send it in anyway!!! Its the satisfaction of completing it though. Cheers. BB
