I don't know this crossword and would love to have sight of the grid, but "diagonal" does not necessarily mean the "main" diagonal ... and you don't necessarily have to read from top to bottom! Good Luck

think of an abbreviation for answer and look around the grid and you'll find a row of five answers !

ULYSSES many thanks, so you just highlight the five seperate diagonal ST or TS ,ive spent hours looking for longer 'stones'
