I have just returned home to find the reason that sarumite had trouble delivering the Link Words this morning is that he had had his access suspended because he has been "acting against the Answerbank rules".

I would like to go on record as thanking him for his continued support in providing me with quiz questions for my local cricket club, for volunteering to replace me in the MM Links Games should I ever go AWOL, for his commitment to AB in the past in answering questions, for his infectious sense of humour but above all for being the complete gentleman.

If he is not reinstated, then I feel that AB will have lost a true ambassador of the highest quality.

Have just logged on and am so shocked to hear the news. I am a virtually new AB user but Sarumite has come more than once to my aid (as have the rest of you) and I sincerely hope that he will be reinstated asap.

I was recently suspended and didn't have a clue why. When I questioned it the reply didn't really say why, but I suspect I had been unwittingly answering too often. During my suspension some of my previous answers were removed making a nonsense of the people saying thank you to nothing, and making people have to answer again. Later my posts were reintroduced. Suspension - OK - but removing previous good answers? YOYOY...

Hi everyone , only just got in from a game of cards and I can't believe what has happened . My gast is flabbered ! How on earth can they ban someone for giving answers ? You have my support for getting Samurite re-instates asap . What would we do for answers if Kayakamina got the same treatment ? My rant over . Anyone getting in touch with S , please let him know he has my support . Regards

Yes..let's hope hey act fast and look at how they apply this rule which might be needed on other sites but not on Q&P! We are all happy and want to be left alone...we can sort people out ourselves if they are rude or overstep the mark!

Then the editor can step in....when there is just cause.

We are a happy bunch on here, bit of banter also, but so what!!

I spoke to sarumite (ivor) earlier this evening and he was devastated and couldn't understand WHY? I am sure he'll be strengthened by the support of his many true friends who (once again) will stand up and be counted.

I am positive that common sense will prevail and he will be AB-solved! This has just been an AB-erration!

Glad you spoke to him Crofter! When you are upset as I know he is...it really helps when somebody shows they care. I enjoy my banter with you Crofter, but I also know from experience how sensitive you can be...I won't broadcast it to ruin your image!...but you have a way with words, and are a really lovely guy yourself!...right dribble over!...all please support one of our special 'family', e-mail the ed, and if you can, send a message to our good friend who is missing us!

I have only just managed to get some AB time ....son home !
This is disgraceful and I shall be making my views quite clear to the editor forthwith .

Never heard any thing so ridiculous ..yet all these people with multiple identities ,trolls and the filth and abuse that is spouted in a certain section is allowed to stand .Grrrr !

Only just found out about Sarumite after a long and trying day. What can I say - except that I'm just as annoyed and frustrated as everyone else. Anyone who has been on quizzes and puzzles for even a short while knows Sarumite is helpful, witty and a real gentleman. Hope there's room in the stretch limo for me, as I would love to be in the 'welcome back' party.
