We must all stick together on this! Thanks for e-mailing S also, he is a star, and needs to know we care. He works so hard looking after his Mum, we are extra friends for him. He is a great friend to us also. he works so hard! They always say ask a busy person!!
I agree with you, I think we should really push for an anwer and guidelines! They act so fast..but don't reply to e-mails!

Well, I don't really know what to say! I've been away for the week-end and just saw this and personally I think it's bonkers to set a time ban on answering questions. Especially Samurite, who is always helpful and friendly. What are you supposed to do sit there twiddling your thumbs until the 5 minutes is up.

How about starting a new board where these silly rules do not apply

Pauline as I said last night I contacted the editor about the suspension of Aquagility (this was a couple of days before Sarumite).
I told her ( editor) that if ever I was banned for inadvertantly giving my answers too quickly , then I would have to consider leaving the site. Her response was ' Well that is your decision and the rule stands '
Crazy.

We'll see now that she is inundated with protest and not just from a single ABer.

You are not going to believe this...just had an e-mail from Aquagility...HE HAS BEEN SUSPENDED AGAIN!

This has gone too far. I have e-mailed the ed, and put a comment on the suggestions page, don't know what else I can do! Any suggestions?
Thanks for all replies...seems like others have taken the trouble to object...why aren't we being listened to?

This situation is getting ridiculous now. We object and email the Ed and she replies by banning Aquagility.
The Ed doesn't seem to know the meaning of common courtesy!

Good God. I've been away for a week, and the ship is rocking. Forgive me for not understanding the finer points of this little contretemps, but as I see it, this is meant to be a FUN site for like-minded people. Why would anyone want to intervene, to prevent that from continuing, with petty bureaucracy. It beggars belief. Surely the users of this site should be allowed a say in how it operates. Take your red tape and burn it.

Sarumite is unfailingly helpful, usually very quick to respond and completely non-judgemental in his answers.

Perhaps his speed in helping others is being penalised; if so, what a crazy situation.

Would someone please tell us how to email the editor? I presume she/he/it has an email address? I have posted a protect on the AB suggestions, but obviouly that is not where you are all sending your emails to.

What on earth is going on here?? Have just seen Sarumite's post about suspension and now Aquagility. Is there a secret agenda here? I didn't even know there was a rule about timing answers. And does it really matter? What nonsense! I fully support both Sarumite and Aquagility. As far as I am concerned they deserve a medal, not supension.
