I have two possible answers NORMANS or NORMALS but can't decide on which to use. Suspect it is Normans but not sure why/

What is the clue?
Question Author
Oops, silly me!!
Frenchmen in not altogether typical partnership.

Hi Grenmus, I would be inclined to go for Normans (being (Frenchmen as the definitive part of the clue) and not altogether norma(l) (typical) but I cannot quite see the partnership. I don't know whether Kayakamina will agree.

Ta Argee2.
I was using norm for typical not norma. could ms be M&S?
I had the same problem, but decided it was normans, as follows: norma(l) ns [North & South partners in Bridge]
Question Author
Ta NILYA, your ms makes more sense.
Graham
Surely, the 'ms' referred to should be ' ns'?
In which case, my suggestion is correct.
I have checked on one site on the rules of Bridge, and the word 'partnership' appears.
Question Author
Sorry NILYA,
Don't know why I kept referring to ms - must have had 'a senior moment' or two !!
Thank you, Grenmus.
I get them, too!!!
