Following the recent confusion concerning suspensions from this site, and the belated receipt of an e-mail from the Editor relating to my expulsion, I have now drafted my reply on the AB suggestions page, as we are unable to enter into direct correspondence with the AB Editor.
sarumite, I have looked at your post on Suggestions, and I agree with every word. But you can enter into direct correspondence with the Editor, by using the Contact us button at the bottom of your Profile, or on the AB Home page.
May I suggest that you paste your post as en email, exactly as it stands?
Aq.
Here Here ! Sarumite ... I have just looked at your post and totally agree with you. I am sure that there must be more things to sort out in the world apart from replying three times. What is the World coming to ! xx
Aquagility, the following clause is written at the bottom of Site Rules so I assumed it was preferable to post my views on AB Suggestions. But perhaps I will now also do as you have suggested.
"Due to the high volume of posts, all editorial decisions are final, and discussion relating to the removal or editing of posts will not be entered into by the AB Editor."
Was wondering if it's your e-mail address that triggers the Robots into thinking it's spam ? Only a thought . Just to cheer you up Sarumite , will you give me a push on the 'other site' . Sure that you have support from everyone on this site. Let's see if you get a reply from the powers to be . Question , if it's in the rules about 3 postings in 5 minutes - why can't we see the 'rules' ?
Late as usual in catching the news re sarumite et al. I must be very naive, but I can't imagine a fellow Aber monitoring what we do and say to each other. Surely not.
I'll be wracking my brains all day now wondering who. sarumite I, too, sent an email to the editor and also posted in either the Editor's Blog or AB suggestions (can't remember which one, but I can check back in a moment). I never got a reply from either one.
Only just came across all this discussion. I sympathise with Sarumite and the others. May be a simple question, but why instant suspension - why not a warning first? Even banks and employers do that (even by law)!!
i've been out of touch for a while and have just come on to find out the results of the weekend link games and I can't find anything except this thread. Could someone please tell me what is going on or give me a link that I can catch up. Thanks. D.
