Cant quite remember the whole clue but it was like a coal bunker type thing! ?e?d any ideas folks?

p s where did you find it?
JULIE, it's cropped up more than any other unusual word in recent weeks. It was in common use when I lived in Scotland.
Hi Julie .. in Chambers it says - ree or reed (Scot): an enclosure, esp a partially-roofed walled yard, eg for coal, for wintering cattle, for confining sheep etc.
