Hello, has anyone else finished this puzzle ? i have 3 clues left with 4 answers that i cant match up, the clues are :
1)alternative to wembly! : 2)this place is ahead! :3) thrower of a good dinner party

4 anwers to match them with are 1)lawyer :
2)barber : 3)leeds : 4) cardiff

i have been on takeabreaks answers page and they have given the answer as 24, but i have 24 as "real time tv drama starring kiefer sutherland," thank you if you can help me.

Afraid I don't know anything about this competition but would suggest ....

Cardiff (Millennium Stadium) is an alternative to Wembley

and a Barber's is a place where your head is visited !?

An alternative answer to 2) this place is ahead is Leeds - if you are ahead you lead, hence Leeds. Hope this helps a little.

After going through them all i think Lawyer is the odd one out : ( sorry i spelt your name wrong !!! towncrier )

as you say (now I have looked at the page in the mag Lawyer looks to be the odd one out

jan1956 : I sent takeabreak an email asking them if they could please help me out as the answer they gave seemed to be wrong, have since recieved an email back acknowleging that they had indeed given the wrong answer, the answer is LAWYER as i thought, they have updated thier site with my answer,

I too e mailed them and as you say have had one back and they have updated the site, I also mentioned that it was great we can turn off that dreadful music, almost stops me going to the site!

I had Cardiff as the alternative to Wembley because Wembly stadium was not yet finished and the match was held in Cardiff.

alternative to wembley= CARDIFF, this place is ahead is= LEEDS,
