I liked jumpers but it has 7 letters and jumper doesnt sound right with flea

Question Author
No, it means that my brain isn't working on these, and Google couldn't help me out. I've also got a few that I'm far from certain are correct, but we weren't given much time to answer these were we smouse. I'm not as fast as the AB er who fnished the NCH quiz on the day I received mine in the post!
Oh hadnt noticed closing date
Have you done 33 37 38 or 49
Question Author
For 33 I put ANORAK, and for 38 I put PANAMA (Panam airways + ma,)although technically I suppose that should be panamma!
Haven't got 37 or 49, despite rereading Bradfords several times, plus another crossword book with a section on clothes. Please let me know if you manage to solve them., and I will promise to do likewise.
49)Shaped structure of steel (9)
37)Crocodile cousin (7)
crinoline?
Hi, sorry haven't got an answer but could you tell me where these quizzes come from
I'd love to print them out for my parents who don't have a pc.
I've tried to search on them but can't find anything - there seems to be biscuits, puddings, vegetables etc etc etc looking at the questions posted on here.
learntojive..............this quiz is available from

If you type in New Quizzes in the search box, you will find some more I think

Yes smouse crinoline had crossed my mind too, it was one of the ones I wasn't sure of. Just thought steel was a bit too strong for a hooped undergarment. I would have thought something a little more flexible and less expensive!
better than a blank though - lol
and just found this
Cutaway view of a crinoline, Punch magazine, August 1856 ... come to mean a stiffened petticoat or rigid skirt-shaped structure of steel designed to support ...
learntojive ... The search that Pebbles was talking about is not working well at the moment. The most recent ones should be at the top but alas, you probably wont get them up. At the moment it would be best to spend a while going back a couple of weeks looking at the title of the questions. Most of us start with New Quiz Available and I know that there has been quite a lot of new ones lately.
If you fancy my new one for our local Hospice it can be obtained from
L Wright 66 Severn Way Kettering Northants NN16 9HN closing date 13th July
1 + sae if cheque, payable to L Wright
Can also be downloaded via jpeg on e-mail and payment sent with return. Also don't mind receiving photocopies.
Have been informed that there is a better way than a jpeg so I am looking into that .
