what is the word

I'm trying to do a codeword puzzle in a magazine, and I can't get started. The letters they give you to start off are Y, U and K, so one word is Y?KU??. The second and last letters will be the same (and presumably must be vowels.) I can't find anything to fit in the dictionary.

The word may have something to do with motorcaravans/motorhomes, as that is the subject of the magazine the puzzle is in. Can anyone help?

Thank you GetOverIt - I have never heard of it! Knowing that the repeated letter was an A has helped me finish it, but there are some very strange words in there including a number of proper names which I think is a bit naughty!!
