Hi guys, just to say I really miss the camaradie of the A/Bers.
I am stuck in Goa,, waiting to complete my teeth implants, due to return to dear old blighty on 10/6/07. Season over [ its good during season] everything closed up waiting for monsoons and to add injury to insult, all booze banned for 2 days because of local election frenzy[ I have a secret store though].
No more UK newspapers because no Brits left so no demand, do you know what that means, I am pracically brain dead [ wasnt too bright before !] with no crosswods to pass the time.

Lucky you being stuck in Goa, as you say it's really a really good place to be, but watch out for the monsoon. In 2000 we were in Sri Lanka & got caught the back end of the monsoons.Believe me it was incredible, you hear people talk about it but when you actually see it raining so heavily its hard to imagine how the locals carry on thru it. We had 2 days of it & I've never seen rain like it, it was a good job the bar was well stocked.

many tks for kind words, we have to return to Poona for the last stage of the teeth thing and we go by 4 whell drive over 2 sets of mountains, so I am hoping and praying the monsoons start after that, have seen some pre monsoon rains in the last few days and they are pretty hefty.
Cant wait to come home on 10th, everything in Goa is shut up the holiday season is well and truly over, just had the elections and they were a bit scary, such fanatics.
Still next week I shall be able to smile again.
