I am not sure about this but the words seem to ring a bell, I think they are from a song called "The Yeomen of England" from Merrie England by Edward German, words by Basil Hood. I have Googled but cannot find it and I could be completely wrong. I will think about it as I am sure I know the words from somewhere!
