MM & KM Links Games

This will be the fourth week of the reign of gen2 and several of you have been able to nail him once, but no-one has really been consistent in hurting him TWICE. Surely this week we shall see a hopeful contender for the July crown pull ahead of the pack!
And what a pack it is! I can see no fewer than EIGHT with an excellent chance of striking for home ~ namely Alibobs, bangor, JMR27, Dinkypuzzled, FoxLee, Jules001, kettledrum & lysander. Have you ever seen such an open contest? To make matters worse, there are eleven others only one point behind. More than once has the winner come with a late burst from this chasing group.
Lately, the Shrubbery Squad have done rather well by scoring double points for "first strikes" and this still appears as the optimal tactic for the aspiring champions! Let us see what happens tomorrow at 09.00 hours!
I am curious to see what hints are set out tomorrow. Last week there were more clues than an Agatha Christie detective story ~ and all were overlooked on the whole! Dare gen2 attempt to be so cavalier again? Only time will tell!
Don't forget the international sister game of KM Links, in which entrants try to anticipate the words in the Herculis Crossword. This is organised by seekerz from the land of Oz and starts at about 07.15am every Saturday morning! (Yes, that's am)
Until tomorrow then, this is crofter wishing you all "Good Luck"!
LONG LIVE THE SPIRIT OF THE MM LINKERS!!
:o)

What subject will I choose for my theme tomorrow? I went with YELLOW bird last week and could so easily have had ORANGE tree, GOLD fish and BLUE bell as well. I am an amateur artist so have I stayed with colours? Will I go for Gordon 'Van Dyke' Brown (from my home town) this week? Or just a common green?
Scotland has also featured in the sporting news with high prominence for the Isle of Lewis and the town of Hamilton so am I promoting Scottish Tourism this week? Who knows?
Finally, a little survey.
Do you:
(a) Skip my posts - the sooner the game starts the better?
(b) Read my posts - but so what?
(c) Read between the lines?
(d) I can't see any lines!
Good luck in the morning and don't overdo the stimulants tonight - you'll regret it come daylight.
