I have completed the crossword and have got the words for the sum but cannot work out the numbers. Any clues or tips would be helpful. I think T=1 but that is as far as I've got. Any ideas as to what the sum relates to? Will.

yes T is one & N is 4 and when you get all the rest the 4 digit number will give you a game of chance

There are at least 25 possible combinations of numbers. In these cryptarithms the numbers are usually 0 to 9, so having 1 to 9 cuts down the possibilities dramatically.
