thank you both now for some ironing, oh lucky me.
Since tylopoda has already been given in the clue is not tylopod too obvious? Might not the answer be taliped?
I agree with taliped
I was going to ask as well, because my Oxford Dictionary states that a tylopod is 'an even-toed ungulate mammal of a group that comprises the camels, llamas and their extinct relatives. They are distinguished by bearing their weight on the sole-pads of the feet rather than on the hoofs and they do NOT chew the cud.
Suborder, tylopoda.'
I initially thought 'tylopod' but now I'm not so sure.
Cannot find 'taliped' anywhere. Anyone else with ideas?
Taliped refers to a cogenital club foot disorder, not much connection with camels !
This is a dilemma

The grammar of the question suggests a plural answer

I have T/L/P/D

Should it not end in S or A? or similar

Having said all this I suppose I have to choose between tylopod and tyloped ? or am I barking up the wrong track?

MM
don't see any reference to the word tyloped in Oxford,Chambers or Collins dictionaries
