Thanks for the first one , the second I thought might be academies but I didn't know why. If its homicides i don't get that either. See I told you I was new to cryptics ????

Homicides = Murders and Homes = Institutions, holding .......... ??

As with cruciverbalist I am not completely confident with Homicides as usually 'US agency' means the CIA or FBI and not CID (UK normally)
