Just a general enquiry to see how other people are doing. I THINK I have got 88 answers (only 12 to go) but have come across some really obscure Musicals on the way.
The whole thing is becoming a chore and may well be abandoned in the near future - unless i hear that others are strugging equally hard.
You have done lots more than me. I made a copy of it at the weekend and passed it on to my daughter and grandaughter hoping that they might help me out. Grandaughter came over on Saturday and came up with an answer that I would not have known in a month of Sundays!! Keep trying reckon you could get there in the end.
I am down to 2 or 3 (I need to check) but boy has there been a lot of brain work to get this far. I nearly threw it at the start but thanks to help from a couple of people it is nearly done. Have abandoned looking for last 2 mind you.
smouse - Just as a matter of interest, which are your last two? I am not looking for help (yet) but would be interested to see if your 2 are part of my 12!
Cant find it at the moment but do know the clues
Tom Dick and Harry
and
make a rabbit happy (I have a perfect answer for this but it doesnt have the right number of letters)
smouse - Thanks for that. I have got the answers to both those. No reflection on MY ability since my daughter provided both of them. I don't think you (or anybody else) will have heard of the musical from which "Make a rabbit happy" comes.
I hadnt heard of a lot of the others - lol
The one I found was plant a radish but as I said it isnt 5 2 5
I'll have to hope you want to swap soon I guess
I'm sure closing date is even later than that - all my August quizzes are in envelopes ready to go and that one isnt among them.
Been fun hasnt it but boy has it been time consuming and brain aching. I nearly didnt do it as I found it so hard
ready to help when youre ready
Just wondered if you had done any more? I guess with the postal situation we will have to post earlier than normal. I am happy to give you any you have missing if you give me my missing two.
Jean
No, I have not had a chance to look for the last couple of weeks (serious illness in the family). I am also hoping to get away for a few days next week so will not have the chance to complete now.
I am still 12 short and don't feel I can ask for help on that many.
The two you want are MEN (for Tom, Dick and Harry) and CHEER UP BUNNY for the other. This latter one comes from that well known (???***!!!) musical, Saucy Jack and the Space Vixens!
All the best with your complete entry. Hope you win. Let me know.
more than happy to give you your 12 - just tell me which ones,
Sorry to hear about the illness in the family, been there, done that, not a good time.
I presume that means you found men. I looked and all I could find was man - anyway it doesnt matter
Please let me tell you the rest - you only have to type the list of numbers
quick panic then as I have posted it this morning but then brain kicked in and I realised I always type answers on a spreadsheet so here goes

22 strange thing mystifying
23 thinking of no one but me
46 morphine tango
55 oh the thinks you can think
58 I'm not wearing underwear today
61 anything goes
63 safe haven
70 the final battle
82 all or nothing (I had all er nuthin but it doesnt fit the letters)
91 goodbye georg (there really is no e)
100 come follow the band
only doubtful one I had but too late now is 81 love is in my legs which isnt really the title
I'll post a new thread when answers come to tell you how I did
Jean
I think thats the trouble - I am pickly like that and if hadnt have found them I wouldnt have really been happy - rest assured I found all the ones I gave you even if in some very odd musicals
