Nothing wrong with Lancashire, even I couldn't understand my dad sometimes, now he was real Lancashire. I get very annoyed that people usually southeners take the mickey out of northern accents. We all learn to speak as our parent talked when we were babies, whether born in Surrey or up North its what makes us what we are. I love the geordie accent but find Liverpool and Birmingham hard to understand and Glasgow I need an interpritor, but with this obsession with northeners is getting boring.
