Thank you to you all I really appreciate your help, can't think what 16A can be but there's only one of the vowels that could go in there isn't there?

I've pondered this for ages and am going with SET as it's backwards in the word 'these' and to set can mean to give -as in homework. What a lot of thought for such a little word!

I'm going along with that as well, there doesn't seem to be anything else to put. It'll be interesting to see the answers when they're printed!
