MM & KM Links Games in August

Tomorrow will bring the first day in the reign of Queen Alibobs and her success was just a matter of time. She has been among the first entrants for so long and I am delighted to see her efforts rewarded. I note that we are close to establishing a female dominance in the latest sequence of winners, and I am aware that Pauline is back in contention!

See posting below for her GREAT new quiz, set by a GREAT compiler and proceeds for a GREAT cause. Some clues are designed to make you laugh, but some will have you tearing out your hair! It's intentional!

For anyone new to the Link games, now is a good time to start since tomorrow brings the start of two brand new Links games ~ MM and KM! The first to kick off is KM at about 7.30-ish tomorrow morning. It is organised by seekeerz all the way from Oz. The idea is to try to predict the link words of Herculis (as many hits as possible and as early as possible).

This is followed at 9.00 by the MM Game, where the links are selected by Alibobs , who was last month's MM Champion (with a score for the month of July of EIGHT points)! Games close at appropriate times on Sunday and all entries are scored!

About 50 ABers enter each week and it's just a bit of harmless fun!

I'm back ashore this evening so as to be able to get an early paper and (hopefully) get the KM game started. If I oversleep (or can't solve the link clues), I'm sure sarumite or one of the other regulars will do the honours.

I'm not into quizzes, but this is one I can't resist. Don't expect me to finish it, though! I hope Pauline gets lots of takers. Aq.
