And a Good Morning to all and sundry today - hope the sun is shining brightly and we're all feeling equally cheerful, full of the joys, etc !!!!!
I notice we're getting through August at a great rate, past the half way point anyway, so thinking caps on for another crack at the links, which will be posted - God and AB willing - by an early rising 'somebody' - in the absence of Aquagility, I'm not sure just who that will be, but 'somebody, none the less.
After that has occurred we all get to have a go and the weekend takes on a fairly familiar pattern and entries become extremely inventive to say the least, then Monday morning comes along with the link matches being posted and then seekeerz tries to add it all up and get it to come out right.
As always, everyone is more than welcome to try their hand at matching Kate's selections and there are no restrictions etc, with word lengths.
So Good Luck to everyone, let's get the show on the road
Good morning Steff. It's very grey here in East Anglia this morning and unseasonably cool for this nonsummer that we are experiencing. I rise from my sickbed but, I must admit, that things are beginning to very slowly improve...still no proper sleep but am coping with the coughing fits without feeling tha I am going to collapse.
My paper hasn't been delivered yet, so I cannot provide the links. Hopefully sarumite will soon be about and let us know.........
just happy to hear that you are slowly but surely on the mend, I would imagine recuperating from something like that would take much longer for an adult that for a child - so you'll be staying in and keeping warm, won't you !! ???
According to the Web, adult experience of whooping cough is less evere that that of a child. If this is less severe I'd hate to know what severe is ! .........believe you me I haven't strayed far from the house, but taking the dog for a walk by the sea the other day was really refreshing.
Would that be based on the assumption that most adults had some form of immunization as a child and in spite of it, an adult can still contract whooping cough - I must admit I've no idea what was around when I was born but both my daughters had injections at very early ages. We hear of the odd break out now and again and TV footage of young babies in such distress is enough for me to have a child inoculated - it looks appalling.
I will have to miss getting in an early answer.I am off to our village Flower Show. It is pouring rain at the moment so will "plodge" all day in my new wellies. Good Luck!
never mind, lysander, -enjoy the day, wish you could steer some of that rain our way, we could still use a lot more. what's the weather forecast for Scotland this weekend ? My daughter's in Fife at present, going to a wedding later today [ and I'll put money on the fact that she'll be freezing !!!
