Just wondering, bibster, why 93. is parakeet, please? I thought the answers were all British birds.

And could someone please explain why a calm time for trainee driver is coot, please?

something that is calm is cool ; a trainee driver is a learner or L ; substitute L for T (time) gives you coot

Sorry I didn't confirm Knot freebi 2 - I have been out of action for a few days and unable to access PC. I took the quiz with me and entertained my visitors with it. Now I'm back home and catching up on all the threads. I am enjoying it but have a long way to go . Congrats to Shaney star who has sent hers in already!
