Mepham

Hi...I'm afraid this is rather a trivial question but my mother does not know how to pronounce the name 'Mepham' from the Telegraph crosswords and she has asked me to post on here to find out. Thank you

I don't think any one on here has ever spoken to one of them personally to find out.. The general assumption is that it is Mep - ham just like Clapham Junction. Nobody would thing of calling that Claffum Junction!

Here's someone with that surname, and it's obviously the way their whole family pronounces it .
