Hmm.... they are supposed to have burnt poor old Joan three times . The Cardinal of Winchester ordered the second burning ..don't know about the first ..I though it was just "the English "!!

As all the answers are so predicated around "Hampshire" I reckon that bibster is probably right with Flowerdown Barrows (as it is an English Heritage site) and Shaneystar with the Bishop of Winchester for J of A's barbecue.

My answer re Meridian is correct.

These questions appear to be from the Littleton and Harestock Summer Quiz, and Number 65 therein (Number 1 above) says : WHICH Bishop of Winchester ordered Joan of Arc to be burnt at the stake ?
Sorry, I cannot help with an answer or clues to an answer, as I have not begun to tackle this quiz, yet. Surely, though, Google will produce it !

I must admit I've googled for ages on Joan of Arc and having read about it over and over, I am still not sure on this answer. Does anyone know the answer to Qu 66 -which spanish provincial capitol gives its name to a type of red fruit? Thankful of any ideas!
