I thought it was good too and have about a quarter still to finish. I do wish, however, that they would give us an extra day to submit our answers when a bank holiday intervenes. I'm sure that not all of us (myself definitely included!) can finish and get it into the Saturday lunchtime collection, and there will be no more collections until Tuesday. With the state of the post as it is now, I wonder whether posting it with a first-class stamp on Tuesday will ensure that it arrives on Wednesday?

I think it has been the most difficult but would question "general". If it were "general" knowledge why are so many of using google and this site??

I do the GK crossword with two friends. we are all over 80 and without a laptop we definitely would not be able to finish it. Some of the answers are not in Chambers. Today's has been particularly difficult.. How does Sarumite manage I cannot imagine.

Kate seems to be doing a pretty good job, following her late father's example, but she should be a little more careful about some of her Biblical or Literary references. Try checking out today's 7d in your Good Book. I think you will find it was Abraham,not Jacob,who built it.
