KM Links Game - September week 1

September !!!!! ???????? where did the year go ??
One minute it's hot summer weather and we're still recovering from celebrating Christmas too well [ as usual ] and suddenly I realise there are overseas Greetings cards in the shops already !!!!!
It won't be long and a year of organising my weekends and Mondays around getting to my computer around 3.00 pm will be up - doesn't time fly when you're having fun !!!
OK down to business - in the absence [ again ] of the globe-trotting Aquagility, I'm hoping our ever reliable samurite will be on hand to post the link words from this morning's Crossword, along with his own selection. Then you and I and everyone else gets their shot at matching Kate's links for this weekend.
And, as ever, come Monday, we go through the same ritual, though perhaps without all the cyber overload, and see what the new month brings.
So, wishing you all a bright Good morning and hoping all are in good or improving health, I'll wander off and pick up the empties in the shrubbery along with chocky wrappers and wait for Mr Reliable to put in an appearance. so long for now, S

We've just had another week of cloudy weather but at least it's been warm. As to me I am much improved...the coughing fits are fewer and the stuff brought up is less. In fact Thursday night saw my first cough free night since 5th August, and I managed to get several hours of sleep in as well. About flipping time.
Here's to a good weekend and hope that it's not too long before the ever reliable sarumite posts the links.
Good luck everybody !

hey, that's good to hear, you really are on the mend and a few sunny days will help no end.
I'd be a very hard person to live with, not having a decent night's sleep in so long - that really knocks the stuffing out of one, without the added 'bonus' !!!! of coughing your head off just as an extra treat.
What type of dog do you have, on a completely different subject, we've now got two Westies, 18 months and 6 months - oooh it's worse than kids, sometimes, but we'd not be without them.
Sorry to hear that Jan .. may I wish you a speedy recovery also. I empathise with the frustration of not being able to do anything. There are so many occasions when I want to read but I'm so shattered that I cannot concentrate on what I'm doing. I understand that it has affected your eye which is none too pleasant either I expect.
Steff,
Deefa (geddit ?) is a working cocker spaniel. His pedigree name is Lammerlaw Ace of Spades and he is now 13 and a half, although he still behaves like a 2 year old at times. I've had him since he was 10 weeks old and I wouldn't be without him. He is a wonderful character and has a great temperament, although now that he is getting on he is now beginning to get old men's problems....like selective deafness !!! He had the human equivalent of a stroke a few months back but he has made a remarkable recovery.....and it doesn't stop him finding and chasing pheasants which is his favourite sport. I now have thoughts of his mortality which make me sad at times, but he has had a good life and he has certainly enriched mine.
Long may we have our pets !!!
