The wife of Mahlon is Ruth (as is clear from Ruth 4:10). The answer Kate wants is Orpah, who was, in fact, wife of Chilion.

Greavsie is spot on. But if you read from Ruth 1:2 to Ruth 1:4 it is fairly ambiguous as Mahlon is mentioned first, then Chillion, but the wives are listed as Orpah first and then Ruth!

And if you look up Mahlon in Wikipedia it gives Orpah as the wife of his brother Chilion.
